1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Calcastat (the "Service"), operated by 8401 Technologies, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Calcastat is a daily sports-themed math quiz. Easy-level questions are available to all users at no cost. Medium and Hard-level questions, and access to past questions, require a paid subscription.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must be capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account; if you are a minor, a parent or guardian should create and manage the account, including any subscription.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select) through our payment processor, Stripe, until you cancel.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account's "Manage Subscription" page, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal.
- Cancelling stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period; you'll retain access through the end of the period you already paid for.
- Prices are subject to change. We'll provide reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access another user's account, interfering with the Service's normal operation, or using automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content without permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All quiz content, branding, and software associated with Calcastat are owned by 8401 Technologies, LLC or its licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
7. Content Accuracy
Quiz questions are provided for educational and entertainment purposes. While we aim for accuracy, we don't guarantee that every statistic, fact, or answer is error-free, and the Service should not be relied upon as an authoritative source.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 8401 Technologies, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your operating jurisdiction — update this section with the specific state/country once finalized with legal counsel.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
